My name is Julia Dover and I’m an award-winning artist from Sydney, Australia.
A self-taught mixed media artist, I have more than 28 years of experience and 7 in social media marketing.
As a professional free-lancer, I have worked independently with more than 15 companies worldwide; creating artistic content for their social media platforms.
Companies such as Staedtler, Singer, Canson, Daler-Rowney and Microsoft.
Working with Supega, Italian shoe brand in recreating the their campaign with Hailey Bieber has been a highlight along with painting with Mulga the Artist at the Flugtag
I am an enthusiastic self-driven person with excellent communication skills with people of all ages; I work closely with companies bringing their visions to reality. I am passionate, patient and reliable. I put 100% effort into what I do and pride myself on my work ethic and dedication.
I have a thirst for learning and a passion for problem solving.
Fluent in English I thrive to think outside the box. Others would describe me as a team leader.
Currently Singers creative bloggist. I produce step by step projects to create with your Singer Sewing Machine and with their other products.
I have placed 2nd and 5th, nationwide with The Creative Beading Magazine for my Swarovski wire sculptures.

In 2023 I first entered the Ku-ring-gai Sculpture Trail with my sculpture "Her Resilience" made from 100% recycled materials donated by the Hills community.
2024 I was presented with the “Highly Commended” award In the Ku-ring-gai Sculpture Trail.
This was for my recycled wire mushroom installation
The sculpture was chosen to be the feature hero image.
Printed on signs, invitations and used for all the marketing and advertising.
Entering the Willoughby City Council, I was awarded for my painting entries in the “Connect, Collaborate and celebrate” exhibition.
My acrylic and oil painting “You and I” and “In a Sunburnt Country” were showcased at the Dougherty Centre, Chatswood.
Internationally collected I have artwork displayed at the Sydney Adventist Hospital, Dr Peter Woods Obstetrician practice, Wahroonga, Parramatta and Gordon. Along with paintings that are currently showcased with Art Lovers Australia and Bluethumb.
At present my 2 latest sculptures “I Do” a realistic sculpture of a bower birds’ nest and
a 2 meter sculpture “Rise up” of a pregnant goanna displayed climbing the trunk of a large gumtree.
Both now available for the public to view at The Ku-ring-gai Sculpture trail.
In 2024 I entered the Archibald
I have had the pleasure of being invited to an intimate group viewing of the finalists in the Archibald Prize 2023 at the Art Gallery of NSW. Followed with dinner hosted by celebrity Matt Morang’s
Along with this opportunity I was invited along to the private viewing of Australian artist John Russell Vincent and close friend Van Gogh’s collection.
As a content creator and influencer on social media my videos have gone viral receiving millions of views – featuring on UNILAD, 9gag, Facebook, YouTube, Instagram and Snapchat.
The Tamron Hall Show- American actress and producer featured a segment of my reels on her talk show.

Throughout the pandemic, aware of how impossible it was for people to access art supplies or afford them.
I reached out to companies in America, Australia, Europe and pitched the idea and in collaboration created fun competitions for people around the world to get involved in.
Creativity is food for the soul. It was critical to keep spirits up and the creativity growing.

Our positive and the negative thoughts.
The wolf you choose to feed is the wolf that will dominate your life and decisions.
Suffering from PTSD I wanted to highlight the power the mind has.
